One Production License is required to install and use this product on each Domain Name (alias). A domain name is defined as a single unique domain address. Domain "www.example.com" and "example.com" are considered as single domain name. You must purchase additional Production License keys for each extra domain name such as "my.example.com" or "support.example.com". DNN Child Portals such as "www.example.com/support" do not require additional licenses.

Professional

One Production License is required to install and use the product on each DNN (DotNetNuke) installation. A DNN installation (a.k.a "instance") is defined as a collection of DNN Portals that are running off same DNN database and/or file system.

Note: the 'localhost' domain doesn't require any license. They are included (built-in) free of charge, and fully functional into the product, making them ideal to fully test product without even requesting a temporary key.

Domain

One Production License is required to install and use this product on any Domain or Sub-Domain Name. For this kind of license, a domain name is defined as a single unique base domain address. A single Domain license issued for "*.example.com" will be valid on any sub-domain of "example.com" (including example.com itself). For example, the key will be valid for example.com, www.example.com, my.example.com, support.example.com, stage.example.com, dev.example.com, etc. You are not required to purchase additional Production License keys for each extra domain name such as "my.example.com" or "support.example.com". DNN Child Portals such as "www.example.com/support" do not require additional licenses.

Server

Allows unlimited DNN (DotNetNuke) installations on single physical server. This is, enables the product within a single physical or virtual server containing any number of DNN installations as long as all the DNN installations share the same server (machine).

Allows unlimited DNN (DotNetNuke) installations and use of the product within a single server of your enterprise. Enterprise is defined as your company site(s) and those of your customers that are directly managed by your organization.
